UPDATE!

I just wanted to let you know that my Dad has finished his treatment and he is 100% cancer free! I guess they will do checks every so often to make sure it stays away, but it looks like we are in the clear! Thank you everyone for all of your support. Every note of encouragement really helped and I appreciated every one of them. I love you all <3

Hey guys!

Where have I been? Well, pretty much any spare moment I have had in the last month, has been going into this. I am finally FINISHED!!

I was being a total perfectionist with this, because it is for my Dad. My dad was diagnosed with neck cancer a couple of months ago. Neck cancers colors are red and white, which is why there is a red and white ribon thing around her. I am happy to say that he only has 14 treatments left! Unfortunately this stretch will be the hardest... So I made this painting of a guardian angel for him to give him hope while he is going through all of this. My Dad is the best Dad any girl could ask for. He is my 'step dad' technically, but I feel that shows that he loves me that much more. I think it takes a special kind of man to step up and raise a child that wasn't his. He has been there for me through everything and I wouldn't be the same person without him. I love you Dad.

Oh and shhhh I will be giving this to him on Friday, so don't say anything if you know him! He doesn't go on deviantArt, that's why I'm posting it ^.^
